Danny injury blow to knee ligament?

WHITBY Town’ss Danny Farthing suffered a massive scare when he thought he had ruptured the same knee ligament which has kept him sidelined for the past year.

Classy centre back Farthing felt a pain in his knee while playing for Tadcaster Albion on a poor pitch in a Northern Counties Eastern League game on Saturday.
At first it was feared to be a reoccurrence of the cruciate ligament damage in his right knee - sustained against Fleetwood Town last March - but although it was the same knee, the 25-year-old had jarred it instead.
