Vicar in Whitby - Appeals fail to squash ban

A vicar in Whitby who had an affair with a married mother-of-four has failed to squash a ruling which banned him from working as a vicar.

David King, 56, from Egton was unsuccessful in his bid to revoke the decision of the first Church of England disciplinary tribunal of its kind on Monday.
