Whitby Harbour inquest into boat deaths

A boat leaving Whitby Harbour was said by eye witnesses as Doomed.

 

Andrew Carrick (45), his partner Jill Russell (48) and John Carrick sailed out of the harbour to lose their lives on 23 November when their boat Last Call was flipped in rough sea’ss outside Whitby Harbour.

In the inquest into their deaths it was heard today from many key witnesses of their disbelief that the boat was actually attempting to sail out.
